No power, Screen will not turn on
Check the following 1. Is the power turned on at the wall, is the plug all the way in 2. Check the power switch on the panel, this will be next to where the power lead is plugged into the panel 3. once both these are checked, you should have a red indicator light on the bottom right hand corner of the panel 4. Turn on the panel, the indicator light should go orange or green depending on the model
Power point is turned on, but no indicator light on screen
1. Check power cable is not loose, ensure plugged firmly into socket on screen 2. Check power switch on screen next to power socket, ensure in the on position 3. Once the switch is on you should have a power indicator light on the bottom right hand corner of the screen 4. Indicator light should be Red 5. press the power button on the screen, Indicator light should turn either orange or green and panel should turn on 6. if no indicator light after all these points are checked, try a different power lead to confirm lead is not the cause once a new lead has bee tried if still no power, contact Warranty Support Power indicator light on front panel is red, but panel wont turn on
1. Gently press the power button and check that it moves in slightly, there should be a clicking noise when pressed 2. Remove the power lead from the panel, Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, Reconnect the power lead and press the power button on the panel, If it still stays red, Contact our Support Team HDMI
HDMI Cable connections Check HDMI Cable is in good condition and that there is no damage to the end of the cable Check the HDMI socket on the panel. no damage or foreign matter in socket Ensure the HDMI cable goes all the way in and is not loose
VGA
VGA Cable connections Check VGA Cable is in good condition and that there is no damage to the end of the cable Check the VGA socket on the panel. no damage or foreign matter in socket Ensure the VGA cable goes all the way in and is not loose
USB
USB Cable connections Check USB Cable is in good condition and that there is no damage to the end of the cable Check the USB socket on the panel. no damage or foreign matter in socket Ensure the USB cable goes all the way in and is not loose
Wireless
In the Android system seettings check that the wireless is turned on Check Antennas are connected on the back of the panel, Ensure you have selected the correct security type and you have the correct password
Display too dark
Use the remote to adjust the brightness on the panel
Display Pixelated
if using a HDMI cable 1. Check for damage to the cable 2. check cable length is not too long -- try a shorter cable 3. check the settings on your laptop or PC - battery saving, low power settings, Interactive
Interactive touch requires a USB cable to be connected to the panel from yoir PC or Laptop Check connectons on the USB cable, ensure USB cable not damaged If using the front ports on the panel, check that the USB cable is plugged into the port labelled USB touch Interactive connections
You must have the USB cable connected for interactivity there are multiple inputs for HDMI and USB touch On the front of the panel-HDMI 1 (Front) and USB touch On the rear of the panel - HDMI 2, HDMI 3 and USB touch Ensure you have the USB cable plugged into the corresponding USB port Software Issues
Teaching Suite not starting Restart your laptop and try again, If this doesnt work reinstall the software, Software starts but will not connect You need to select the correct panel type in the setup Once the correct panel is selected the software will start
Software Modules
When the software is first installed, you have the option to select or delselect seeral modules if a module was not selected and then you want to add that module, Run the setup again, When you get to the module page, click on the extra modules that you want installed, Then Click next and continue the installation This will install the additiaona modules you have selected Software Installation
Check you have the latest version of the software - Currently V3.7.17 Dont run the installer from a USB drive, Copy the software to the PC or Laptop and then run the installation from there Installation Steps. Click on the Deploy_Full.exe On the next window tick the box labelled simulations Click next, next, next Click install Once installaton is complete, connect your laptop or PC with both HDMI and USB cables Start the software by clicking on the Donview Board Icon on the desktop The program will fail and give a message cant connect (This is Normal) Click connect, Then click on the drop down menu and select the correct model of screen This will usually be DS infra red interactive or if you have a capacitive panel Select DS capacitive Click Connect This will register the software on the laptop, Teaching suite will now run. The next time you start the software it will go straight to the teaching suite
